Former Finalists from American Idol

Show Premise

Idolized is a live musical production show that features a cast of former contestant finalists from the popular TV talent competition, American Idol*. Many of these contestants have gone on to become Idolized in the world of rock, pop and country music.

Show Description

The 80 minute show consists of 4 former American Idol contestant finalists Jasmine Trias-3rd Place Season 3, David Hernandez – Top 12 Finalist from Season 7, Nikki McKibbin-3rd Place Season 1 and Mikalah Gordon-11th Place Season 4 performing songs from yesterday and today including songs they performed on American Idol and original compositions. They are backed up by the All Star Band under the musical direction of Joe Spraker and the dynamic vocals of the Superstars Live Singers.

Each artist performs for approximately 20 minutes separately and may also sing with his or her fellow contestants in never before performed duets and group songs. There is also a patriotic finale with the entire cast. There will be a meet and greet following the performance for photo ops, autographs and merchandise sales.

Line-up is subject to change but always a star studded show. Check with box office for current line-up.

Trias forever loves her ‘Dolly’

If Jasmine Trias had to pick a favorite item from her home, it would have to be her “Rainbow Brite Baby Brite” doll she calls ‘Dolly.’

The former “American Idol” contestant travels frequently between Hawaii and the mainland, working on her music career, and having the doll is as good as taking home with her where ever she goes.

Trias shares her thoughts about ‘Dolly’:

“I’ve had it since as long I can remember. It was a present to me from my Aunty Aida during my toddler years.

“Many children grow up with a security blanket and usually grow out it … but my Rainbow Brite doll was my security doll, and I have to admit, it still is.

“My career has given me the opportunity to travel quite often and my doll is with me wherever I go. It brings me comfort and peace, especially when I’m homesick or going through a terrible time. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get rid of it or even grow out of it. I’ll forever love my Dolly!”

Trias is currently in Las Vegas rehearsing with the original Society of Seven as they prepare to open on the Las Vegas strip at a new venue, which they hope will be permanent. The target opening date will be sometime late this month or early next. She’s also working on her second album in Los Angeles.

Jasmine Trias To Collaborate With Henry Kapono To Grant Girl’s Wish

A little bit of pixie dust and a whole lot of talent made eight-year-old Elikia’s wish to have the song she wrote recorded by a female singer a reality. Make-A-Wish Hawaii Ambassador, Henry Kapono wrote special music to accompany Elikia’s lyrics and asked Jasmine Trias if she would be the recording vocalist. Hawaii Pacific Entertainment coordinated the project for the super duo who produced a special CD for Elikia, who is fighting acute myelocytic leukemia.

SOS LV welcomes back Jasmine Trias, for five-weekend show series

The Society of Seven Las Vegas (SOS LV), Waikiki’s best entertainment show, is welcoming back Hawaii’s American Idol finalist Jasmine Trias for a five-weekend engagement on Fridays and Saturdays from March 6 to April 4 at 8:30 p.m. at the Outrigger Main Showroom. “Jasmine was a hit with the Society of Seven Las Vegas cast when she performed with them last year and we’re so excited to have her back at the Outrigger Main Showroom,” said Fran Kirk, Executive Vice President of Outrigger Entertainment. “Jasmine adds an element of freshness and femininity to the Society of Seven Las Vegas, and audiences will be surprised by her growth, and also by the broad scope of musical genres she is able to excel in.”

In addition to SOS LV’s sensational Broadway melodies and celebrity impersonations, Trias will perform songs from “Flower Drug Song,” “Miss Saigon,” and “Dream Girls.” She will also enchant the audiences with her impersonations of Beyonce, Britney Spears, Natalie Cole and Shakira, and perform hits from her American Idol journey that put her in the limelight in both Hawaii and abroad.

Trias, who finished third in the third season of American Idol, has performed with the original SOS group led by Tony Ruivivar at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. She was the first American Idol star to have appeared in a production show on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Society of Seven LV performs on Wednesday through Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at the Outrigger Main Showroom in Waikiki.
